10. Electromagnetism
Electromagnetism explains the close relationship between electricity and magnetism. When an electric current flows through a conductor, it produces a magnetic field around it. By winding a wire around a soft iron core and passing electric current through it, we can create a temporary magnet called an electromagnet, which becomes magnetic only when current flows.
This principle is used in many important devices such as electric motors, electric bells, generators, and loudspeakers.
